Medieval post 4 (fiction)

Today was amazing, Chef LaFleur sent me to serve bread at the coronation! It was amazing! there were so many noble men and women and the theatrics of it made me want to have one myself though I am only a bakers apprentice. The Pope was there and the Price/King person, with his beautiful wife to be Elizabeth! It took place just outside the castle and it was wonderful outside today in the courtyard! The new king even told me that the bread was so good that I shall get to be a cook in the castle once he starts getting his new servants in order! It is sad that the King dies but Prince Edward will make a great king! Everybody at this event was so happy, it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Mideival Post 3 (Fiction)

Being the counter/salesperson for the bakery means I see and talk with almost everybody in town, the leading physicians, nobles, EVERYONE! The kind of things we eat are a lot of vegetables possibly made into stews, but another big piece is pastries, being a baker has it's advantages like free bread mostly but there are others. We live in Paris France, it is mostly cityscape and a bit wet.

Medieval post 2 (fiction)

France had a feudal system of government, the royal power was extremely limited. I loathe the marriage laws of my time, the church will not bless the marriage of me and Cynthia and her father can't give her away without the blessing! I can't believe they would do that just because, I don't side with their religion, I prefer not to have a religion! I don't see why everyone is so kosher with all these laws....

Memoir

Gooper4814
My bother is leaving

The air around me, in my house was clean, though it felt heavy with my aching heart, I love my brother Wes, and around me was conversation, serious conversation of him going away to strange places for a long time. I wasn't handling it very well, my breath shaking the start of one of my many to come sobbing sessions. Taking in all my surroundings, the refrigerator, the couch and other appliances I knew I was home, and he was too.
Soon after my brother and Matt were talking about this trip all the time planning, getting passports and working to make enough money for the trip. Daryl and Wes were living at our house again. It made me truly happy, but I knew it couldn't last. Their plans wouldn't allow it, but finally like most of his plans it fell through, I kept my joy to myself...
Soon after he made plans to open a local gaming shop, like GU in Bangor except more local Daryl and Matt and I believe Koko at that point, they were all getting jobs and trying to find a building to open the shop in.
Daryl is long and thin but not all that tall but always happy an having great jokes, Matt is Irish and sort of expressionless sometimes but I never mind being around him and Koko well there's not much I can say for Koko...I was ecstatic, he was opening a local shop and it was a gaming shop I was content and happy as all, Daryl started going to Koko's house and things were happening slower, and slower.
All was going well again things were picking back up and running smoothly, and then.
    Grandma Arrived.
Don't get me wrong, I love my grandmother, but she is so pushy and she talked my parents into sending me to Florida for most of August, she bought the tickets without asking me. With how fast my brothers plans change lately, how much time did I know I had left with him? Around the same time she arrived my brother, Daryl and Matt decided to go see Wes's friend from Kansas who's sister had just died. I was unhappy, what if i left before he got back?, I didn't though, luckily he only spent a day or two in Kansas, and I had him all to myself except  for Daryl, but I like having Daryl around. After the week of happiness it was time to go...
The trip to the airport in manchester was nice but once we got there I started to have fun, and started and then remembered I missed Wes and Started and cried to my Mom over the phone, If you were there you probably would have thought I was bipolar. And finally my Mom found out if I wasn't there for the start of school than I might not get a laptop so, she rescheduled my flight for a few days earlier. Sweet relief, I would be going home in just a few days.
Today was the day to go see grandpa, he was cool I liked him, and we had fun, except the day I went there Wes called and told me Daryl was going off to college, about a day later I got a text message from Daryl the day before I had to go home it said “ I'm headed off to college. I will miss you Zach, hopefully I can still come over on weekends and stuff. Bye.”. I was upset, purely and utterly upset  being with Wes was only half as good as being with Wes and Daryl, Daryl was like this big Sun radiating happiness, Good vibes and great jokes. and with only a day till I got home he left, I called Wes immediately after and Wes said Daryl had already left, at least I'd still have Wes for a while.
The night I got home driving back from the Manchester airport, I puked, a lot of puke. and that night when I slept in my own bed it was unbelievably comfortable, especially considering Wes was in the next room. The next day I rode a two wheeler bike for the first time (without crashing that is), and Wes taught me how. the following day or so He told me his plans to go to UAT in Phoenix, Arizona. For 3 years, I was torn, shredded, mutilated, Till New Years, that's what I had with him for another 3 years.
As I write we are little more than two months away from New Years.
